He refuses to be grounded...

Parents Support One Another @ MyOutOfControlTeen.com/support = I need help with the following issue:

I started your program a few days back and I need some help. My 15 yr old refuses to do anything and I mean anything we ask him to do and he refuses to be grounded when he does something wrong. For instance if we say , you can not watch TV for 3 days, he will do exactly that. To make him honor the grounding, we take away the TV access card. As soon as we do that he will find something that interest in, and of course, annoy us to do. When we deny him access to that one he will find something else. The process continues till there is nothing worth taking away. At this point, one would think he will comply, but all he says is that "I am already grounded, what is there to loose."

The other issue I have with this attitude is that, he makes the whole family suffer-his sister can not watch TV, no internet etc and since he does not care, he just goes on annoying people . What do I do?

My spoilt daughter...

Parents Support One Another @ MyOutOfControlTeen.com/support = I need help with the following issue:

My spoilt 15 yo OOCT daughter has got a new repertoire to get her own way. Crying, acting out, yelling, screaming, swearing - no response or change of mind from me. So now she tries hitting, biting and threats of suicide. No remorse afterwards - I made her do it. It is not her fault - it is not fair to have consequences. HELP!

Parents Support One Another @ MyOutOfControlTeen.com = I need help with the following issue:

I have 2 boys who have had a horrible time in the last year after a series of traumatic events caused by their father, They are irish twins 8 +9, and the older one has reused school since this happened, we have tried everything, professionals, books, home programs thru our city, Im at a lost, now if he doesnt start to go he is being referred to a dayschool program for kids with severe behavior problems, Hes a good kid and iy scares me to death what is happening and I dont know what to do to regain the love and security we had, prior to this, I try everyday to show them, tell them, spend time with them, but its never enough, they are so unhappy and angry, all progress has been slow at best and now ppl are mad at me and questioning my parenting skills? one son has adapted back to school very well, but sees it as unfair that his brother gets all the accomodations , which has caused alot of resentment, Ive lost my boys somewhere and i dont know how to get them back.

My son refuses to do any thing we ask him to do...

Parents Support One Another @ MyOutOfControlTeen.com/support = I need help with the following issue:

My son refuses to do any thing we ask him to do. He says "i will do it, I will do it" but never gets to it. When we punish him for refusing to the work, he ignores our orders and does what pleases. When we try to talk to him he will not listen, he will simply walk away.

We at most times end up taking/locking the TV, taking away the internet etc. But, then when we do that we end punishing the good kids as well. Any advice?

My 15 year old adopted son has been diagnosed with ADHD, RAD, ODD, and PDD. He refuses to do his school work and is currently home schooled and part time public. I have called the police on him twice this past week.

Parents Support One Another @ MyOutOfControlTeen.com/support = I need help with the following issue:

I often feel like I really hate my child. Her behavior has destroyed so much of my life and my teenage daughter's childhood. Always drama connected with my 10 year old daughter with the issues. He just refuses to do things like homework...

Parents Support One Another @ MyOutOfControlTeen.com/support = I have been following the program and our 16 year old son, seems to be actin like a 4 year old. He makes all sorts of weird noises, yells us down by saying he doesn't care and will not give an inch. I couldn'd keep the poker face last night and as my husband was dealing with him had a bit of a cry infront of the TV. He came out, pointed at me and then laughed. He suffers from anxiety/adhd and has no friends or self esteem. How do we cope when he just refuses to do things like homework or any request?
