At what age does a teenage get to no longer get the "being grounded" punishment?

as soon as they can show their parents they are responsible and mature. if they keep doing things to defy their parents intentionally then they deserve punishment until they can learn.
my last "punishment" was when I was like 13 or so. Once I was 17 my father trusted me enough to allow me to come and go as I pleased because I always ley him know where I would be, and with whom, and about when I'd be back.

when they aren't a teenager anymore, but a responsible adult
til they move out
depends on how many times you get in trouble.
all in the background and how much the parents trust the teenager.
