I feel that the drinking age we have right now (in the US), 21, is actually too low. Did you know that if teenagers drink, they do damage to the front part of their brain? That's the part that does creativity and recognizes sarcasm, etc, and isn't done developing until age 25. Alcohol does a HUGE amount of damage to that part. That's why I think 26 should be the legal drinking age. Plus, look how responsible young people are with alcohol. They get in more alcohol related crashes than any other group. A raise in the drinking age is a small price to pay for human lives.
18!! If you can fight and die for your country at that age than you should be able to buy a beer. The main thing is if you make the choice to drink then be responsible!!!!!! If you want to know their are just as many old dudes drinking and driving they just haven't been caught yet
21 is the right age but I do believe that us military should be allowed to drink at 18. These men and women are risking there lives everyday and after there tour in Iraq they should be allowed to sit and drink a cold one!
Ever known a kid who got killed driving drunk? That changes your perspective a lot. Going to the funeral of a close friend who had a shot or beer too many and lost control of the car is sad. Worse was the driver did not mean to kill his passengers either. Or injure the people in the other car he hit. Too bad about the 4 year old boy though, a life in a wheel chair just does not seem fair.
I think 25 is a good age to drink at.
