My son is ditching a class called Access, which is designed for students that are failing. He refuses to go and says its not worth his time. He is 16 and parents are divorced. Any suggestions?

In a way, school is preparing you for work and it's not like you can skip work even though you have nothing to do on that day. I'm saying this as someone who used to skip the maximum amount of classes possible before they banned you from taking the exam ^_^ (my parents knew- I just stayed home- and they didn't mind because I was doing well).
If you forbid him to skip class, he might just skip it in secret and end up who knows where with who knows whom.
On the other hand, you saying it's OK might encourage him to skip even more classes....

I guess there's no right answer.
