do you know her or understand her well enough? or do you spend time with her, maybe she's not getting as much attention or respect from you as she needs? I don't know, it's just my input.

She is going through a tough age where she does not know how to express herself, it is understandable that you are losing your patience with her, try and see if you can spend a full day with her, take her somewhere that you think she might like, like a theme park, a community event, or a museum, at the end of the day tell her that you want her to make a list of things that she likes no matter how many of them there are, when you review the list it should help you learn a little more about her, taking this time to spend with her can help you two become closer and she can begin to trust you more, as far as her lack of concentration, she may bounce from one activity to the next until she is out of college, maybe even after, it is difficult on your part, but it is going to take more patience then you know you have, once she gets to a point of trusting you, some of the tension between you two will break and the relationship will improve. Good Luck.
