She hasnt been home in 2 days...

Parents Support One Another @ MyOutOfControlTeen.com/support = I need help with the following issue: my 16 year old daughter is doing everything you can imagine. She hasnt been home in 2 days and is skipping school again. I dont know where she is stayng and worry constantly. Should I try to contact her or just let it go until she is ready to come home. The first night she was away I did call her and she refused to tell me where she is staying. What is the best way to handle this.

You should check her emails right away! There could have been some perv online who convinced her to go be with him. I truly hope you find her and work out whatever was wrong.

Your the parent, she's the child. What I would do is put my foot down and put her *** on lock down until she can straighten up and control herself. If you are still worried after doing that, take her to the doctor and start the birth control shot or another type that you can control more.

Unless you want your daughter to end up a pregnant drop-out living on welfare, maybe you need to seriously consider some sort of boot camp ASAP. The only reason why she wants to live with grandma is because she can do what she wants, when she wants and with whom ever she wants. In some states YOU could be arrested because of her behavior.

You can try sending her to a boarding or military school for girls. That would get her away from the boyfriend and into a place where she would get her education, teach her some discipline, and self respect. You could try scaring the boyfriend off with a restraining order against him on the daughter's behalf. When she sneaks off report her to the police, let someone in authority know what is going on, they may be able to help. Search the net for boarding schools and military schools.

Report her as a run away and when they find her they can charge who is holding her as aiding a minor. I would call DFS/police and file a run away report.
