Our 14 year old keeps sneaking out in the middle of the night...

Parents Support One Another @ MyOutOfControlTeen.com/support = I need help with the following issue:

Our 14 year old keeps sneaking out in the middle of the night. We've screwed the windows shut, called police. She says she sorry...but she can't be that sorry if she keeps doing it. What is the best way to handle this? We've told her it is a safety issue more than anything else.

I'm curious to know what happened. Did you catch your kid sneaking out? How can she get out with the windows screwed shut. The front door!??! In that case, install a cheap alarm that goes off whenever the door is opened (check Lowes).

ok i was recently caught with me and my friends by the police out and about at like 1:30 in the morning and now i m grounded untill august 1st and another thing u all should no is that most teens sneak out when u r a sleep and they hop out there windows cuz the front or back doors in general make 2 much noise so the window is the way 2 go!

I caught my son sneaking out last night (Mon.). So this past night i set the security system. At 5 AM the security system went off. hhhmmmm??? He told his father (who went to check on it) he had opened the door to go smoke a cigarette.

My sister that is ten years younger than I am, did this. My dad duck taped her bedroom door. She ended up leaving the home at the age of 16 and lived with someone else until she went to college. She was very difiant and a trouble maker, that was risky in what she did.

She is now a state police officer in the state of new jersey. She is very feminine and has a nice relationship with an older fellow. So the good news is, this could be passing and she has a chance to mature and become a good person!
