Why do teens think their grown?

Why do teens think their grown? ...especially girls ...do boys mistake those girls for easy since they try to act so grown for their age?

Almost all teens think they know it all. It's because they're starting to separate from their parents more, so they have more independence. Because of that, they think they have the whole world figured out. What they don't realize is that they haven't even gotten a taste of the "real world" yet.
There was a girl on here earlier saying that she was going to try to get emancipated because she was sick of living with her mom. She thought she knew it all - how she was going to support herself on $1500 a month (HAH! A person is lucky if that covers the rent!) and be all grown up. She's not the first to think she can make it on her own, only to fall flat on her face when she gets out into the big bad world.
We all thought we knew everything when we were teens. I know I did, and I'm willing to bet that you did, too. But once we grow up, we realize we don't have all the answers.

We think we're grown because we don't know any better and think we own the world. I will admit it. But other teens get carried away. But it is because of our hormones. It affects how we think and stuff. Hahaha I'm being serious.

I know in America, they stopped us from whipping our kids, so they feel like they can do anything they want. Come to find out yesterday they are turning that back around because now parents are getting beat up and they need Parent Protective Services (PPS) just like (CPS) Child Protective Services. Police here are not taking calls seriously now when kids call CPS or them the police. They will ask the child why did your mom have to spank or whip your butt. The child will say the reason why, than the police officer will explain your mom had the right to do it because you put her life in danger and you siblings. I think it's something in the food or water. Hmmmm..

I am scared of what the future holds, being 13 and one of the few kids in my class who doesn't spend their Friday nights drinking. I have no idea why people do this, and they are not grown up enough to deal with the adult consiquences that come with the adult world.
